All sorts of animals are covered within the book, everything
from cockroaches to kangaroos and snails to elephants. No animal is too large
or small. Each poem is complemented with illustrations that are real and life
like, drawn really well and gives something extra to imagine and look at when
reading the poems. I would use this one
in a science or nature lesson as a way to bring literature into the subject
matter.
